Jonathan's super crunchy 30 min oat cookies

These cookies are named after Jonathan for a reason. He actually helped me make them!

Jonathan doesn't always have the patience to eat his bread in the morning, so these ones will give them the best alternative breakfast :)

They only take 30 minutes to make, and that is including baking time. They are super easy too!

Jonathan's super crunchy 30 min oat cookies

ingredients

  • 125 gr butter
  • 150 gr sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 vanilla
  • 100 gr flour
  • 130 gr rolled oats
  • 1/4 tea spoon salt
  • 1/2 tea spoon baking powder
  • 1/2 tea spoon soda
  • 1/2 tea spoon cinnamon
  • 50 gr almonds
  • 50 gr raisins

instructions
  1. These cookies are fun to make with kids.
  2. Let the butter become soft, in room temperature.
  3. Add the sugar and vanilla and mix with your hands until smooth.
  4. Add the egg and keep mixing with your hands.
  5. Add the flour, already including the baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon.
  6. Finally add the almonds and raisins.
  7. Use a full table spoon to put the dough on the baking paper.
Don't mind the shape, they will become flat as they will melt before baked.
Bake for 12 minutes (yes only 12) in per warmed oven, 180C.

This is how they look like after baking.

Keep in a air-tight jar or tupperware to maintain crunchiness :)
